My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Sixty-two - sixty-five.

This is my last post for the Reshaping It All online event. I can’t believe it has been 65 days!! Sorry I haven’t posted for the past 4 days. Friday was Canada Day here and we went out to the lake for a surprise get together for my cousin and his gf that graduation and it was also a farewell for an exchange student that was staying with them. It was a ton of fun! 
Saturday we went to a Berry festival. It is every year in a little town and there is music and different vendors and tons of food and stuff like that. I bought a change purse thing that someone made with beads. It has Mario on one side and Luigi on the other. I just had to have it! 
Sunday was sooo hot! We went to church, I went shopping, my brother and I had a water fight and then I did homework and watched the game. 
Today I cut the grass, did homework, and dad and I rode our bikes downtown and back. It was a hard ride coming back but that’s good! It was a good workout. :)
So with all that went on this weekend, I didn’t eat the best. I tried to do as good as I could with portions and to get exercise and stuff like that. For example at the lake to cut back I had my burger plain, no bun or anything and it was good! Also instead of just sitting around and talking the whole day, my brother and I went for 2 walks and played Frisbee. 
 I have learned quite a bit during these weeks:
- I really think about what I put in my body before I do it. I try and think “is it really necessary that I do this?” Something Candace stresses in her book.
-Little good choices add up! 
-If I mess up, don’t give up! I am really hard on myself sometimes and I am learning to move on from mistakes and that I can make awesome choices after a not so good one and still end up with success. 
Although I didn’t lose a ton a weight these couple months (I did lose some though yay!), I feel like I have learned a lot. This is an ongoing thing and hopefully eventually I will not struggle with food as much as I do sometimes. I will still be blogging about my Reshaping It All progress, probably weekly or something. I think checking in will keep me more accountable. So you will be hearing more about this. ;) Have a good night y’all! Oh and Happy July 4th to everyone in the USA! :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Sixty and sixty-one

Just a really quick entry. This even is quickly coming to a close and unfortunately I am not being as productive as I wanted this week. It has been so busy! My cousins graduation was yesterday and I worked, today I had a hair appointment, had a potluck lunch at work for someone that is leaving, work on some gifts, then my friend came over tonight. 
So needless to say, when I am busy I sometimes tend not to eat as good as I should. Actually yesterday wasn’t too bad. I mostly had fruit and for supper I made turkey burgers, which I had without the bun. I cheated a bit at work and when I got home.
Today I had some Bran cereal and then for the potluck lunch I tried to do as good as I could. I just took a little bit of everything and tried to take more of the healthier stuff. And I only had a tiny piece of cake! For supper I had a leftover turkey burger. For my snack just now I had macaroni salad hahha-not the best thing to eat for a midnight snack. :/

My Reshaping it All Journey…Day Fifty-nine

Well today was kinda blah haha. I slept in and then for breakfast I had some cereal and a nectarine. For lunch I had more fruit and some almonds. My snack was crispy minis and for supper I had salmon, chicken and potatoes. And I also just had a plum. 
Unfortunately I didn’t exercise today. I wasn’t feeling that great. Maybe it was the heat. I am not use to these warm temperatures-but I am enjoying them!

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Fifty-eight

So I worked today till 5:30 and I was up early. I tried to have some fruit for breakfast but it was making my stomach feel gross so I had it for my snack later in the morning. For lunch I had salad and a fruit snack. For a snack later on a had some trail mix and for supper I grabbed a nectarine and a few tortilla chips. I was in a hurry cause I was going to my friends house to watch The Bachelorette. Then we went to Tim Horton’s and I got a lemonade slush and for a snack tonight I had a banana, fruit snack and crispy rice bar made by Envirokidz lol. 
Since this is the last week of the Reshaping It All Event I want to do as good as I can this week. It will be hard though since this week is so busy but I just have to think one good choice at a time! :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Fifty-six and fifty-seven

I was tired last night so I didn’t do this. 
Yesterday wasn’t too bad until I got to work. I had cereal, fruit and salmon and roast beef for supper and I forgot to pack a snack for work and I snacked on a fruit snack and a mix of stuff that had nuts and candy and stuff. Bad! :( I had some today as well. I am going to try and not have any tomorrow. I also had a granola bar for breakfast, fruit and smoothie for lunch, a fruit snack, chicken and celery for supper and a banana and hemp and sesame tortilla chips for a snack. Yesterday I took the dog we were watching for a walk and I didn’t get any exercise in today. I went to church, went to work, came home, had supper and then my aunts and my cousins and cousins gf came over and we scrapbooked. :) 
Well hopefully tomorrow will be better. I already have a salad packed. I can already hear my coworkers saying “salad again?!” ;)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Fifty-five

Wow! There are only 10 days left of this event after tonight. 
So I was doing really good until I went to work. :/ For breakfast I had 2 fried eggs and an apple. For lunch I had snack kind of stuff (more fruit lol) cause I ate a late breakfast, and I had some salmon for supper. Then I went to work and had an oatmeal cookie that I took and there was a tray of like nuts and candies and stuff and I had a little bit of that. :/ Then I came home and had a nectarine and 2 little cookies and some hemp and sesame tortilla chips which I think are pretty ok since they are low sodium and made with corn. Oh and this morning we went for a walk which made me sweat a lot! haha it was warm out. :)
This challenge has really made me more aware of what I actually eat and what I should and shouldn’t have and it helps me think twice (sometimes lol) about what I put in my mouth. I didn’t really realize how much I actually struggle with food until I actually try resisting it. I just have to do my best though and just make lots of small good choices so that it will add up success. :)
Georgia is coming tomorrow and hopefully I will have time to take her for a walk. Isn’t she gorgeous. Friendliest dog I have ever met too. :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Fifty-four

So today was pretty good! I am not going to mention everything I ate cause it seems like a lot but fruit and veggies are not very filling so I ate quite a bit of them lol. The only thing I probably shouldn’t have had was the Popsicle. It’s hard to resist them when its so hot out and I had just finished cutting the grass again. The lawn mower quit on me yesterday. I think it overheated. So I finished that, and then after supper mom and I went for a walk. I pretty much did homework most the day besides shopping for a bit for grad presents…and having a quick karaoke session. :)
