My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Thirty-one

Last day of the month! And it was a good day. :) I got a good workout in and a walk as well! This is what I ate today:
Breakfast: Life cereal with almond milk
Lunch: Rice pasta and tuna (not together lol)
Supper: Salad and Turkey Meatloaf. I used to recipe from Reshaping It All. Its so good! The first ingredient I grab and then drop…the egg of course lol. (excuse the very 70’s floor hahah)
Snacks: Sesame snaps and Crispy Minis 

Hopefully tomorrow will be as successful! :)

My Reshaping it All Journey…Day Thirty

Day 30. Well almost a month into this challenge and I have lost some weight and kept it off. Today was pretty good. I got exercise in and didn’t eat too bad. 
Lately I have been struggling a bit more. I think I go through periods where I just feel so tired and don’t feel like exercising or eating well. And then sometimes I will feel so good and I want to eat as good as I can and get right to my exercising everyday. I think right now I am somewhere in the middle. This verse I read today is a good reminder. 
Philippians 4:12-13, I have learned the secret of being content…whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. 
I know what I need to do but I don’t always do it. I know I need to go to God first when I am having trouble because he wants to help me and he can give me the strength to do better. I think I often forget the “THROUGH HIM” part of this verse. He has all the answers and for some reason I try to do things in my own strength which usually doesn’t work so well. Thankfully he doesn’t give up on me! :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Twenty-nine

Not too bad of a day today. :) This is basically what I ate:
Lunch: Apple chips, homemade soup
Supper: A smoothie ( ice, almond milk, peaches, blueberries, rice protein, flax and hemp).
Snacks: Pumpkin seeds, and a few Pringles...and a Jolly Rancher lol.
For exercise I went for a walk. I should have done more but I wasn't feeling 100% again today.

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Twenty-eight

Today was a much better day! This is what i had today:
Breakfast/lunch - granola bar
snack- tuna and granola bar lol
supper - salad and a smoothie
snack - 2 biscuits and pineapple
Really glad I got the salad in today. I didnt do any exercise though. I worked 1-9 and didnt get up early enough to fit it in. Tomorrow for sure!

ughh. I am getting a little discouraged. I was doing so well! I haven’t weighed for a couple days so I don’t know what I’m at. I just really need to get back to my salads! 
At least I got out for a walk today. It was pretty damp and cold but it was actually nice to get out.

blahh...I am just having an off week. I felt tired and lazy pretty much all day. I was going to mow the lawn which would have been great for some fresh air but it was sooo windy I didnt really want to that badly after all haha.
I ate really weird today too...I had pancakes for breakfast/lunch, and Rice ice cream for supper haha. Snacks: tuna, pumpkin seeds, and homemade hamburger soup! one of my favorite things. its so good!

My Reshaping it All Journey…Day Twenty-five

Day 25! hmm not too much to tell today. I had some cereal, homemade soup, a smoothie and chicken, a fruit to go, sesame snaps a cookie (oops), and some popcorn. For exercise I did some aerobics. Not a very eventful day. I think I have been falling off the wagon a little bit and it seems I sometimes tend to this time of the month. ;)
So no more Oprah Winfrey show. I watched the last episode today and it was not really what I was expecting but it was nice. I always enjoyed watching when I could, which sometimes wasn’t very often cause I was in school, so this year since I have been doing my classes at home, I watched as often as I could. I vividly remember watching Tom Cruises “couch” episode when it aired and wondered whaat is he doing?! hahah that will always be one of my favorite memories of the show. So long Oprah Show!

I felt sooo much better today! I didn’t eat a whole lot. Rice ice cream, crackers and peanut butter, puffed wheat cake, a banana wrap and some chips lol. Not very good stuff. And I didnt exercise cause I wasn’t feeling 100% yet. So for the past 2 days this is pretty much all I watched..Degrassi Junior High. Sooo 80’s. haha

Ugh, not a good day y'all. I have been sick all day and laying in bed. :/ All I have had to eat today is some soup crackers. I am thinking maybe its from eating at McDonald's. I dont eat out that much. Maybe my body is just not use to it. Well I better get some more sleep. Night!

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Twenty-two

Just a really quick update. This was not a good day! I feel like I ate so much, probably cause I had lots of carbs. So…
Breakfast: a sesame snap lol
Lunch: Pancakes, some chicken nuggets and a few fries. (we made too much food lol)
Supper: My friend and I went out to McDonalds and I was all excited to get my Caesar salad and then they told me they were out of all salads. :/ So I got the chicken burger meal. I really didnt need the pop but got it anyways. I didnt eat all the fries though! 
Snack: Tomatoes and banana bread (also something I shouldn’t have had because of the sugar and wheat.)
And the only exercise I got was from cleaning and mowing the lawn again. :/
So back on the wagon tomorrow! Hopefully I didnt mess it up too bad..its weigh in day tomorrow!
Oh and I also watched Life as We Know It for a 3rd time with a friend tonight. :) Josh Duhamel. ♥

Kind of an off day. A cheat day maybe? haha. Started off good with some oatmeal and a smoothie.  hmm trying to remember what else I had. I had about 5 spoon fulls of mac and cheese (it was sooo good. havent had that forever), tuna, snow peas, jolly ranchers :/ popcorn, crisy minis...and 1 Pringle lol. At least I did my aerobics today! haha

Okay, after those exercises yesterday, I am so sore! haha. So today for exercise I cut the grass which took about an hour. Tip of the day: Doing chores is good exercise! :) Today I ate Life cereal with almond milk, a pita with a little butter, salad, and pineapple. For a snack I am having Rice Dream dessert. Yum!

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Nineteen

I had a pretty good day! I ate well and had a great workout! This is what I had:
Breakfast: Oatmeal. Lunch: Pineapple and tuna. Supper: Salmon and mini tomatoes. Snack: Granola Bar.
For my workout I did this video:
I usually do the aerobic part but today I did the whole thing and its hard! It has lots of toning exercises at the end for thighs, butt, and stomach. I think I over did it and felt sick after but I’m glad I did it anyway! And yes this video is super cheesy and very 80’s and they are dressed in bright pink, yellow and blue but its fun and I love it haha. It even has Lisa Whelchel from The Facts Of Life. :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Eighteen

Just a really quick update. I won’t record all that I ate today cause I didnt really have meals haha. Just mostly kinda snack type stuff. It was all pretty healthy though! I did finish the leftover meatloaf from yesterday. I guess that was my supper. It was really good! I was so tired tonight and I didn’t feel like exercising but I did anyway and then after, I felt like I had so much energy! I love to do my aerobics and turn up the music! Today I went with some WHAM! and Aqua haha. :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Seventeen

Well I did a weigh in today and I am down about 14 pounds since I have started taking this more seriously, so about a month a half. Today I started out with a smoothie pretty similar to the one I had the other day (peaches, strawberries, mango, blueberries, almond milk, ice, a banana, and flax and hemp). Later in the day I had some crispy mini’s and a biscuit and then the rest of the smoothie. For supper I had turkey meatloaf (the recipe is in Candace’s book). I totally was not feeling motivated to exercise today but I did aerobics at least.

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Sixteen

Pretty good day today. I worked today so I skipped breakfast until 11am and I had my usual cereal at that time and for lunch as well. I also had a granola bar and a little bit of granola. During my lunch break the 2 girls I was eating with were both eating McDonald’s and one asked if I wanted some fries but I turned them down. They both know I am trying to watch what I eat so I think they felt bad eating McDonald’s in front of me lol. I didn’t mind. For supper I had a piece of fish and some potato.  For my snack I think I will have a biscuit and maybe some raisins. Well I think I am going to do some reading and maybe start watching Win a Date With Tad Hamilton. Have a good night y’all!

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Fifteen

Just a quick update. Not much to say today. I skipped breakfast, which I usually do on Sunday, came home and made a lemon drink in the blender which consisted of 1 lemon, ice, water and stevia which is a sugar substitute. Later I had 3 Jolly Ranchers, tuna, some sesame snaps and a snack thing.. I dont know how to explain it. I think its made with rice or something. Then for supper I had trout and salad. I still need to eat better earlier in the day. I didnt really get much exercise today. I should have done an aerobic tape but after supper I was just so tired! I did feel like I lifted a bunch of weights though after working in the nursery at church this morning if that counts for anything haha. Lots of crying babies that needed to be held. Well hope everyone had a great weekend!

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Fourteen

I guess this marks 2 weeks! I did well today. :) For breakfast I had my regular cereal and almond milk. For lunch I made a smoothie and it was so good! It had 1 and a half cups of combined peaches, mango, and strawberries, 2 cups of almond milk (one regular and one vanilla flavored), a banana, about half a cup of blueberries, a few cubes of ice and some flax and hemp just to make it healthier and you can’t taste it in the smoothie. I also had a bicuit made with spelt flour (no wheat), and a popsicle. For supper I had a piece of chicken and some homemade soup. For my snack I had some popcorn (not the microwave kind), and peaches. For exercise today I mowed all the lawn (takes about an hour or more usually, also why I needed the smoothie and popsicle - it was warm out!) and went for a bike ride after supper. A good day! :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Thirteen

I am so tired right now so this will be short. I got up early and went to bed too late last night. I skipped breakfast this morning cause I was in a hurry, for lunch I had tuna, tomato, and a popsicle, for supper I had chicken and homemade soup. I really need to start eating better earlier in the day. I got out for a walk cause it was really nice out again. :)

Day 12. hmm let’s see what I ate today. Breakfast: oatmeal. Lunch: Cereal, popsicle, crispy minis. Supper: snow peas, a little bacon, a plain pita, tomato. Snack: Rice Dream frozen dessert. So…ya I need to eat better meals cause these are not very filling things I am having and I think I could make some better choices. I got out for a walk after supper. It was actually super nice out today. :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Eleven

Today was a pretty good day. Mom and I were going to go for a walk but it was cold and cloudy and looked like it might rain so we waited and then when it got nice I didn’t have enough time. I did do my aerobic tape though. For breakfast I had more Puffins cereal, lunch was tuna and pineapple (not at the same time - that’s a gross combination hah) and supper was salad and peas. My friend and I went to Elton John with some people at work and so by the time we got there I was hungry so I got a pretzel and pop, which were major cheats. And now and I am home and super hungry cause I didnt eat that much today. I will probably finish my pretzel lol. It was a great night!

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Ten

Hi all! I got the exercise in today! I did about 20 minutes of aerobics and also went and played badminton for about an hour and 15 minutes. For breakfast I had Barbara’s Puffins, the Cinnamon kind (pictured below). I am so glad that I found and enjoy almond milk cause I can have cereal again! It tastes like normal milk! I was scared to try it haha. This cereal has no sugar. It is sweetened with molasses and tastes good! I had 3 bowls today haha breakfast, lunch and snack. Don’t worry, I didnt just eat cereal all day, I had crispy minis, chili and small tomatoes for supper and Rice Dream’s rice dessert and peaches for a snack. Probably could have made some better choices but oh well. oh…and I did have 2 pieces of my brothers 5 cent candies. It’s definitely been a while since i had candy. Wishing I didnt have it but it was only 2 at least! ;) 

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Nine

Day 9! Today was a good day! I kinda skipped breakfast until my break at 11:00 at work and had a banana. For lunch I had a salad, salmon and Triscuits (again haha) and some granola. Again there were chocolates in the break room..and i didnt take one! A girl at work asked me how I stay on track so well. I just said cause I have to haha. I didnt want to tell her that I am blogging and recording pretty much all that I eat. She would probably think thats too weird lol. Anyway, for supper I had more rice noodles. It’s becoming very regular in my diet haha. Not sure what I’ll have for a snack yet tonight though. 
No exercise again today! :/ I was going to go to badminton with my brother but we decided to go to a funeral of a family friend and I cried more than I thought I would and I didn’t really feel like going to badminton right after that. Hopefully I will be able to go tomorrow. :)
Oh and random but exciting, Boy Meets World season 5 came in the mail today. :)

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Eight

Well first of all, Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies! I went to church this morning, then worked 1-5, and then my family had supper together. :) We gave mom her gifts, and then watched Little House on the Prairie (my idea haha). It was super busy at work. It’s surprising how many people wait till the last minute to buy Mother’s Day Cards haha. This morning I was running late so I grabbed a breakfast bar as I was running out the door. For lunch I had rice noodles, salmon and triscuits, and pineapple. For a snack I had Crispy Minis and for supper it was salad, a few fries and a tiny piece of sausage. I almost had a cookie at work during my break at work but I didn’t! It was hard to not take it but I didn’t! Hoping I will get some exercise in tomorrow!

My Reshaping it All Journey...Day Seven

Day Seven! I started out the day with oatmeal that I have been having everyday. It is just oats, and then after its cooked I add almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and sometimes a little bit of cloves just to give it some more flavor. So that was kind of breakfast/lunch. For a late afternoon snack I had ketchup flavored crispy minis. That was definitely a cheat food. Definitely better than chips or something but I could have chosen something healthier. For supper I had a salad and some chicken breast with BBQ sauce that I probably could have done without. And for my snack tonight I had some peach slices and butter popcorn flavored rice cakes. Well, that’s one week down!
